Hello wonderful artists and creative souls!
I hope you are all enjoying your week!
I am finally getting back my strength, little by little, after a very nasty flu. I constantly have to remind myself about my limits in pregnancy, and try to slow down every once in while… Not easy, lol! I’m now at the half-way mark at 20 weeks, how exciting! 😀
I have so much to do and I am constantly filled with new inspiration! And as you can see I have been SO busy over the last weeks creating up a storm for both Ever After 2017 and for this awesome Creative online retreat!
In the FREE 2 day online retreat, I will be offering this lesson on my acrylic painting, I share with you one of my methods of just letting go and trusting the process. I hope to inspire you to “Break free” and create expressive, emotional portraits, much like in my class “The art of expression”. I believe that sometimes we need to express our emotions and feelings in some way or other, but for fear, we don’t, and we keep it to ourselves. But by letting go and expressing through our art, we open that window into our feelings, that small peek into what is really happening behind the scenes. A glimpse into our soul.
Here are the other 15 other artists who will be offering some awesome lessons as well! Learn more about it here:
(Take advantage of the Early bird price before the retreat begins)
Your creative journey should not be limited to one weekend so we’ve created the ONGOING RETREAT PACKAGE. This includes extended access to the lesson from the weekend of the retreat as well as a new lesson sent out weekly over the next five months. Join us as we make Creative Retreat a practice to sustain our path, nurture our souls and support our creative unfolding.
In my lesson for the ongoing retreat, we will be learning to “Be Brave”!
In continuation to my first lesson, we continue to explore the power of visual story telling through our art. Sometimes we have subconscious feelings we can’t really place, but are there nonetheless, weighing us down. When we begin to just let go, and play in our journal, not worrying about perfection, we leave space for those feelings to surface. I also believe that by using limited tools and color palette, again we can stay focused and let those emotions flow. I hope you enjoy this lesson as much as I did! Sometimes letting go of those raw emotions can be really liberating!
I can’t wait to share this all with you an hope you will join me and these other 15 amazing artists/mentors/teachers for a creative overload!
With much love,
Don’t forget that the early bird price for
