I had started this painting a long time ago and only finished a few days before my mothers passing.
At the time I didn’t know why this painting was so difficult for me to finish, I kept putting it aside and leaving it be for a while. I had kept feeling a deep resistance to finish it. (I’m normally a fast painter, so this was very strange for me.)
Now I realize that this painting was meant to give an important message, on how much every day is a gift.
We have to cherish every moment with the ones we love, and tell them often that we love them. We can never know when it will be our last chance.
To live each day as if it were our last, without regrets, and every moment shared is a gift cherished in our memories forever.

More about me and my methods

 

My creative process when I paint is very intuitive.

Often I begin a piece without a specific idea in mind and just let it evolve as I go with the flow. Many times I paint from my dreams and soul memories that emerge as I create, letting my heart and soul lead the way.     

My inspiration comes from my dream journeys, the faery and elven realms, the beautiful nature of forests and the sea, ancient symbols and sacred geometry, angelic and spirit realms animals, and of course, all things mystical magical.     

My intention is to create beautiful art that will empower, inspire, and bring soul connection and magick to those who view it.
