Namaka is a Native American goddess. I have enjoyed painting and sculpting her in the past. She is the spirit of water, a sea goddess of Hawaiian mythology. In mythology she is called the “Chieftess of the Mu” as her spirit lives within the sacred creatures of the sea – the dolphins and the whales.
.
To create this piece I made a mold for the silver clay with some shells I collected at the seaside.
Aquamarine is a stone of calmness and communication. It clears negativity and instills a sense of joyfulness and playfulness. Paraiba Opal sharpens intuition and aids in communications.

More about me and my methods

For a few years now, I’ve been working with crystals and stones and their healing magick.

It’s been one of my deepest desires to be able to combine crystals with my creativity and this past year, I began to learn and practice making healing jewelry and let my imagination flow through this new venue.

As I began to follow this new spark, it slowly fanned into a flame and has inspired so many new creations.

My creative process with creating jewelry is much like my process when I paint. I often begin a piece without a specific idea in mind and just let it evolve as I go with the flow. It’s a beautiful and intuitive process as the stones and crystals I am working with lead the way.

Many times I have even had the feeling that I have created this very design before in another time and place — a soul memory that emerges and leads my hands and heart.

My inspiration comes from the same sources as my art: the faery and elven realms, the beautiful nature of forests and the sea, ancient symbols and sacred geometry, angelic and spirit realms animals, and of course, all things mystical magical.

My intention is to create beautiful wearable art that not only makes the wearer feel beautiful, empowered, and protected, but also to benefit from the combination of healing crystals, symbols, and magick.

Each time I create a piece, I am using specific intent.

Each time I complete a piece, I cleanse and charge it with a moonlight ceremony and ritual.

Each time I ship out a piece, I ask a faery blessing and intention for those who receive it.

My sacred jewelry is a new and exciting form of art that has enriched my creative life and I am so excited to share these creations with you!
