Before we begin our painting I like to choose a color palette.
This helps me have an idea how each color reacts to the others. This helps us void making mud on the paper as we already know which colors look good together and which need to be avoided.
When choosing your colors notice that bright saturated colors will give our painting more of an energetic feel, and cool colors will be more calming and soothing.
