Part three: foundation layer
Now we can begin adding the first foundation layer of the skin.
By using the darker and mid tones first we build layers from dark to light. The
lightest values will be added in the next layers.
It’s important to get this foundation layer down so we can build on it later. Don’t worry if it goes through an ‘ugly stage’ at this point, it’s totally normal!
As we push through this stage it will all begin to come together in the next layers, when start adding the mid tones and details to her face.
