Part two: color choice & drawing
Before we begin our painting I like to decide on our color palette.
I love to use use cool colors, but you can totally use whatever colors you feel drawn to.
We want to make sure the colors show up well on black, so I like to test them out on a small scrap of black paper, that way we have a color reference if we need it.
We can also draw out our face and figure using either a white a chalk pastel, or a similar color of our chosen palette. After that I like to roll over the kneaded eraser to remove any extra pastel dust before we begin.
