This is when things start getting interesting.
We can either decide to leave it light, loose, and messy, or add more contrast and drama. It’s really up to you and what direction you are inspired to take. I opted for lots of drama as I wanted to portray the power of the Full Moon Goddess and her magical energy.
Don’t forget to keep things loose and playful, even at this point in the painting. It’s important to follow the urges you get while painting, so if you feel like adding a big bold line, mark, or drips and splashes somewhere, by all means do it… This is not the time to hold back!
I really enjoy this way of painting and letting my intuition lead me.
At this point I was really loving the direction it was going. It was wild and bold!
I couldn’t help but adding a few little touches of mixed media in the end to make things even more interesting.
Again, this is purely a matter of personal preference and you can also leave it as it is at this point.
