Drawing

We begin by drawing the face and spirit animal.

In my case I chose the leopard, but feel free to choose which spirit animal resonates with you today.

We want to keep our sketch light enough so that we don’t risk ruining our paper when we erase. You’ll notice that hot press paper can be quite delicate and if the fibers get messed up from erasing the watercolor can look splotchy and marked when we start painting.
