Now that we have the foundation layers we can start adding the final shadows, details and depth.
Towards the end we also add back in some white line work with the gel pen or sharpie, and some splashes and some sprays and splashes with the white gouache.
The color pencil also helps us add definition and contrast in the eyes and smaller details to make them stand out better.
