Hello creative artists, welcome to the classroom!
I’m so honored you’re here to create some magic with me!
It’s been a while now since I had the desire to share my creative process with you all. I know watercolor can be daunting, especially for someone who’s used to painting in other mediums. Watercolor is sometimes considered to be a more ‘difficult’ medium, or more ‘uncontrollable’…. Or at least, that’s what’s been told.
To tell you the truth, that’s what kept me from exploring watercolor for so many years.
I used to look at all these gorgeous watercolor paintings and sigh, “If only I could paint like that”…
Well, I finally realized one day what the heck! Why don’t I try it?
Like every medium, there is a learning process, a time of experimenting, trying and trying again, making messes and making mud, lots of it! You can’t imagine how many of my paintings flew straight out the window, lol! Oh well! 😛
But like everything, it’s the trying that counts, the experimenting that opens your eyes, the playing without expectations that brings the unexpected.
And I fell in-love! I began to realize this medium isn’t any more ‘difficult’ than the rest, it’s just different. It’s exciting and full of surprises, full of playful fun and magic!
Once I started to approach it with that mindset, the magic started happening.
Every time I sit down with my watercolors I am surprised at the pure magic they create. The unpredictability is something I look forward to instead of fearing.
And I know it will be the same for you.
“Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear.” – Jack Canfield
In this workshop I want to help you loosen up, and overcome that fear of watercolor just like I did.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to share my magic with you, and in turn, discover and develop yours!
So hey, what are we waiting for!? let’s get started shall we? 😀
