So let’s get out those paints now and start adding some color!
Sometimes having a white paper in-front of us can be intimidating, even for me! But when we start the painting without preconceived ideas and let it lead us to what it wants to be, it can be a rewarding and playful experience!
This is the fun stage where we can be playful and start adding elements of texture and can get as inventive as we like!
Be brave, use what you are inspired to use, stencils, plastic wrap, gauze, or other texture elements you have or find around the house is great too.
There are no rules here, so just have fun!
Wasn’t that fun? As many times as you do this kind of background texture you’ll never get it the same, that’s the fun part, there’s always that wonderful surprise moment when you pull up all the texture elements and release what’s underneath.
