Now we can start adding color!
These first layers are an important foundation to the painting, and if done with patience can really make a difference in the final effect.
It’s important to respect drying times (yes that’s a challenge for me too!) and use a lot of water to dilute the paints when working on the skin tones. Many translucent layers of color makes up the most beautiful skin tones.
