I really enjoy these first layers as anything can happen when we follow our intuition.
I also love collecting beautiful collage and patterned papers, and finding ways to incorporate them in my painting.
A great way to start collecting papers and bits and pieces you find is by leaving a bag or box out in the livingroom or kitchen, where you can easily just add an interesting paper or design as you come across them.
