Bloom

Bloom is a mixed media workshop where we’ll draw and paint a beautiful, expressive figure using my favorite layering techniques.

I’ll guide you step by step on how to draw the figure proportionally, bring in a sense of movement, and let the layers of color and texture tell a story.

As we work intuitively and release control, we’ll open the door for our creativity to bloom.

WHAT KIND OF SUPPLIES DO I NEED?

You don’t have to buy everything on the list.

Many things can be substituted for materials you already have.

• Hot press watercolor paper
• Bright inks
• Heavy body acrylics
• masking tape or frog tape
• Paint brushes of various sizes
• pencil & eraser
• wax pastel crayons (or non water-soluble color pencils)
• Acrylic markers &/or paint markers
• Mixing palette, water jar, paper towels
• heavy gel gloss medium
• Roller (optional)
