Welcome to Rewilding, an acrylic workshop!

I’ve always loved to take walks in the woods.

It’s my favorite place to go when life gets too hectic and I need

some grounding and rewilding.

Nature has always sparked my creativity like nothing else. The peace and quiet

we experience while out in the forest is refreshing and regenerating, but it also

helps us tune into our own senses and connect with the world around us

in a special way.

In this workshop we will paint a beautiful woodland scene where we will picture

ourselves and how we feel while in nature.

I’ll also show you my acrylic layering techniques to achieve a soft but

loose effect to our painting.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN IN THIS CLASS:

  • My favorite acrylic layering techniques
  • Getting inspired from nature
  • Staying loose with our brushstrokes
  • Creating a portrait with symbolism and imagery
  • Mixing skin tones
  • Choosing a cohesive color palette
  • Layering with acrylics to create transparency and depth
  • Creating a personal story with art
  • And so much more!

WHAT KIND OF SUPPLIES DO I NEED?

You don’t have to buy everything on the list.

Many things can be substituted for materials you already have.
